THE GREATEST FIRE (2017-18)

"Containing numerous turns of phrase that are completely world class, the rub here is that Bass actually makes his bones as a classical guitarist. 'I wanted this album to be an expression of everything I was capable of, to feature the best songwriting I've done to date, and to let rock 'n roll shine through the more diverse influences of my previous records.'"  Recorded at Wave Lab (Tucson), New Monkey (Los Angeles) and Creekside Sound in Brooklyn.

WINTER BARE (2015)

An album of alt-country love songs recorded in Elliott Smith's New Monkey Studio in Los Angeles, featuring members of Iron & Wine, Calexico, Neko Case, and Zappa Plays Zappa. These lush and delicately layered songs beautifully illustrate the hope, possibility and loss of love. Guaranteed to keep you warm during the darkest of winters.

NEW YORK IN SPRING (2015)

This collection of love songs for New York are Bossa nova-inspired tunes featuring Bass’ live band, and influenced by the great composer Jobim and Brazilian guitar masters Luis Bonfa and Baden Powell. After winters of being cooped up, the city derobes and stretches out into the streets, cafes and bars and you wonder how you could live anywhere else. Recorded at Creekside Sound in Brooklyn.

MUISC

TENANT (2014)

A love of storytelling, evocative lyrics and lush imagery characterize Jeremy's first solo work. Recorded and mixed by producer Matthew Vitti of MotherBrother Studios, Tenant features the bass playing of Pete Griffin (Young Beautiful In A Hurry, Zappa Plays Zappa), the keyboard skills of composer Aaron Kotler, strings from members of Silouette Quartet, as well as a backing array of mandolin, banjo, and lap steel guitars.

COUNTING SHEEP: LULLABIES (2013)

Samples available on SoundCloud

These instrumental lullabies form the backbone of a daily musical practice that Jeremy is sharing with the public for the first time. This collection of global classical guitar music includes works by Tarrega, Llobet and Sor, as well as original songs and improvisations on banjo and mandolin. This is an ideal find for children's bedtimes, candlelit evenings or long study hours.
